Why FIT Test?

The FIT Test is an excellent tool for detecting food and additive sensitivities, inflammation, and gut barrier dysfunction (leaky gut) all in a single test.

With multiple pathway approach of detecting IgG1-4, and complement activation via the marker C3D, a reliable marker of inflammation, This method can prevent false positives associated with IgG-only testing.

FIT Test is the only test that includes 4 markers of leaky gut; Candida, Zonulin, Occludin, and Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) antibodies.

Clinical Importance

Food sensitivities can produce a wide range of systemic symptoms. When unfavorable food reactions are considered to be underlying a patient's complaints and symptoms, but a diet diary and/or food elimination have not resulted in the expected positive improvements, the FIT test can be very helpful in identifying particular food triggers.

Common signs and symptoms related with food sensitivities:

Digestive problems
Allergies
Chronic headaches
Chronic fatigue
Mood problems

Food sensitivity testing is frequently ordered by functional medicine specialists. Food sensitivities are a more common type of adverse food reaction than food allergies. Food sensitivities can induce delayed unpleasant reactions up to 72 hours after consuming, making identification difficult without testing tools.

Basic Information

About FIT Test

The Food Inflammation Test (FIT) is a food sensitivity test that use a proprietary method of assessing both IgG antibodies and immune complexes in order to detect both food sensitivities and inflammation in a single test. We offers 3 FIT panels, with the quantity of tested foods and additives varied.

The Gut Barrier Panel assists practitioners in recognizing between different levels of gut dysfunction, ranging from simple sensitivity to inflammation to more severe leaky gut. It assays IgG 1-4/C3d and IgA 1-2 for 4 critical gatekeeper indicators.

What is the Gut Barrier Panel?

Leaky Gut Screening

The Gut Barrier Panel assists practitioners in recognizing between different levels of gut dysfunction, ranging from simple sensitivity to inflammation to more severe leaky gut. It assays IgG 1-4/C3d and IgA 1-2 for 4 critical gatekeeper indicators.

IgA1 and IgA2

IgA play a role in immune function of mucous membranes.
IgA1(85%) is associated with immune response.
IgA2 plays a critical role in the GI tract to fight against lipopolysaccharide.

Having a leaky gut means the functions of the intestinal barriers have stopped working properly.

*Intestinal Barrier Panel is already included in FIT Test.

New Update! –Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) Added

Zonulin Antibodies

A key biomarker for intestinal permeability.
The only regulator of intestinal permeability that is reversible.

Occludin Antibodies

A more stable and specific marker than Zonulin Protein.
Occludin plays an important role for gut tight junction structure.

Candida Antibodies

Overgrowth of candida causes several health issues.
It's linked with gut and Immune health.

Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) Antibodies

Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) are a major structural component of the outer membrane of gram-negative bacteria. Elevated levels of antibody against LPS may be indicative of Leaky Gut Syndrome and other gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases.
